Density is Destiny

About my Album

This was never intended to be released. The uneven tracks were recorded two years before the even ones, both using completely different methodologies. While the former consists exclusively of a differently processed layered 7-string guitar over a 70's drum machine, the latter tracks are built out of premade sample CDs mixed to varying degrees with a programmed Reason synthesizer. That's due to the fact that I didn't have a guitar avaiable while making them. What's left to do is putting both parts together, featuring samples, a guitar and a synthesizer. Think of it as a demo of bigger things to come.

About me

I don't aim for perfection. Anybody listening to my album can attest to that. I try to get things done as quickly as possible. If I can't finish a track in a day, I usually never do. The sad thing is that it is always easier to start over. But that's also the beauty of the age I live in: I don't need a studio, I got all the equipment I need, and can start making music any time I please and decide to do so. And so can you. It's all there, really. The last Prodigy album was made completely with a laptop in a bedroom. Except that I don't consider myself to be a serious musician. I don't throw school to go out and be a rockstar. Cause it's not really necessary anymore. No matter what you do, you can learn everything you need to know about producing in less than an hour. In short, I don't think my first album is a masterpiece, I haven't spent sleepless nights over it, it's not my "baby", it's just something I enjoy to do and that makes me a little bit proud. Hope you enjoy it too.
